Celebration Time!

Happy birthday to the Boy Scouts of America and congratulations to our Webelos 2 for their crossover from Cub Scouts.

Pack 285 is excited to celebrate the upcoming crossover of our first Webelos 2 den from Cub Scouting to Boy Scouting. These fifth graders started with us way back in third grade. Now they are heading off to new adventures as Boy Scouts.

Come join Pack 285 on Saturday, Feb 13th at 2:00PM at the Roswell Mill Park in historic downtown Roswell to witness this achievement. We will be hosting representatives of their select Boy Scout troops who will be on hand to re-scarf our Webelos into their new colors. Cake and refreshments will be served afterwards.

Meet us on the City Park side at the start of the covered bridge. The address is 95 Mill View Avenue, Roswell, GA 30075 and you will see several red brick buildings to indicate that you are in the right parking lot.

If  you see these buildings, then you are on the correct side of the bridge.

Webelos 2 should contact their den leader, Cynthia Khan, regarding where they should meet, what to bring and how to dress for this special occasion.

After the crossover concludes and refreshments have been served, a Blue and Gold Hike will held on the National Park side. This is a lovely park with a terrific waterfall to view.  Den leaders have been encouraged to come early and enjoy the park with their scouts.

Please don't leave without collecting your Pinewood Derby kit.  The race will be held on Saturday, March 19th.  Get a  jump start on your car design by joining us for the February Pack Meeting.
