The Bear Den is a tenacious group of young men committed to excellence. The Pinewood Derby is no exception and this year things got serious. With their new found whittling skills and use of power tools, these young men really owned their designs.

First Place - Amr! This car could compete with the Stealth Bomber for aerodynamics. It flew past us so fast that all we could feel was the breeze. Outstanding job!!

Second Place - Aziz! A third year veteran of the Pinewood Derby, this was the first win for Aziz. He proved to us all that perseverance and learning from past experiences can led the way to victory. Great job!

Third Place - Ja'far!  Someone must have sent up the Bat Signal on this dreary morning because Batman was in the house. This car was as close to the original as you could get.  Ferocious design!
